Terry Gilsenan has been involved in Information Technology for over 30 years, after starting with a deep involvement in electronics. The last 20 years have focussed on Security and Internetworking.

Building custom application proxy appliances, with built-in IDS/IDP between Ethernet and SCADA/DCS networks, and developing transparent asynchronous routing proxy appliances inexpensive surplus equipment whilst maintaining the focus on data security has been a key part of Terry's work.

With over 22 years in the Energy Industry including 16 years in the oil patch, 14 of which were with InterOil Corporation in Australia and Papua New Guinea, Terry is currently employed as CIO/VP Technology with PIE Operating, in Houston, TX.
